About Us
Founder Michael M. Mellano’s experience as CEO of a large-scale agricultural business in San Diego County dovetailed nicely with his growing interest in cannabis cultivation.
He saw potential in using cannabis to help his 80-year-old mother find natural relief from rheumatoid arthritis. As a former infantry officer in the US Army, Mike also saw how veterans were enjoying the benefits of medical cannabis.
Six years ago, having never grown or had any experience with the cannabis plant, Michael began experimental cannabis cultivation in compliance with CA prop 215. Since then, he has been on a personal pursuit to study and understand its wellness benefits. Out of this journey, Coastal Cannabis Co. was born.

What are the daily purchase limits?
For recreational customers, California law allows the purchase of up to 28.5 grams of cannabis flower and up to 8 grams of concentrate per day.
